The origins of the Black Quail 2008 Pinot Noir and 2009 Pinot Noir have been certified by Oritain. Both of these vintages are single vinyard vintages from Bannockburn, New Zealand. The Keillor's vinyard lies on south bank of the Kawarau river just below the george.

These wines were bottled by Vinpro in March 2009 and March 2010 respectively. Oritain has collected, analysed and archived authentic samples of these particular wines and determined their geochemical specification.
